a steady, championship-tested linebacker with NDSU DNA
Kurt Mattox brought classic North Dakota State toughness to linebacker: a 6-foot-1, 229-pound former Totino-Grace standout, he was a multi-year Bison contributor and member of NDSU’s 2013, 2014, and 2015 national championship teams. His profile points to a dependable, physical defender with strong football pedigree and enough versatility to help on depth and special teams. He also earned MVFC Honor Roll recognition, which adds the “does things the right way” stamp coaches love. If you need grit, consistency, and a player who fits a winning culture, Mattox checks the box.
