Paris McBride is Delaware’s floor-general blueprint: tough, steady, and wired for winning
McBride’s Delaware legacy is defined by leadership and efficiency: in the 2020-21 season, she started all 27 games, led the Blue Hens with 3.4 assists per game, posted a 1.49 assist-to-turnover ratio, and averaged 6.0 points plus 1.6 steals per game. She was described by Delaware as a “floor general” and a two-time captain, which tells you the scouting report beyond the box score: organized, poised, and high-IQ. If your team values a guard who can steady the game, defend, and elevate teammates, she fits the mold beautifully.
