Mark Fazzolari brings veteran leg strength and booming hang time to WVU
In the 2000 season, Mark Fazzolari averaged 41.2 yards per punt with a long of 76 and landed 15 punts inside the opponent’s 20, and by 2002 he was described by WVU as a veteran punter with a live leg, quick operation, and better placement and coverage understanding. That mix of raw explosiveness and improved command makes him valuable if your team needs field-position juice, not just a guy who can kick it far. The knock is consistency under pressure, but the upside is a punter who can flip the field and handle holding duties.
