Elite WCC Center with 58.6% Shooting and 20-Block Sophomore Season
Raychel Stanley, the Loyola Marymount Lions' 6'8" Center, is a high-efficiency scorer who averaged 8.6 points on 58.6% shooting during her 2017-18 sophomore season, racking up 20 blocks in 27 games. Her differentiator is her rare combination of interior dominance and prep pedigree—she led her Gaels to a 29-2 record before college. Stanley plays with relentless intensity, averaging 3.7 rebounds while protecting the rim with a 12-start presence. Though her stats are from 2017-18, her profile suggests a team-ready fit for any squad needing a reliable, high-percentage post player who doesn't just score but anchors the defense. You should care because she’s a stat leader in blocks and shooting efficiency, not just volume. Is she a good fit? Absolutely for teams seeking a disciplined, high-impact center with proven leadership and defensive grit.
