Jalen Spencer brings veteran depth and ball-hawking instincts to USF’s secondary
Jalen Spencer is a seasoned South Florida defensive back who profiles as a reliable, assignment-sound presence with some playmaking upside; ESPN lists him with 8 solo tackles and a forced fumble in his current profile, while his background as a multi-year contributor suggests steadiness more than flash[1][2]. Rivals gives him an 82.63 industry rating and notes him as a 6-foot, 183-pound safety/DB prospect, which points to a compact, versatile defender who can handle multiple back-end roles[4].
