steady lead guard with a facilitator’s edge at Valparaiso
Erik Buggs is a low-mistake, pass-first guard whose value comes from organizing an offense, moving the ball, and keeping pressure on opposing defenses; in the available season snapshot, ESPN lists him at 4.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 46.0% shooting, which fits a connector more than a volume scorer.[6] He stands out for his reliability and feel, with Valparaiso’s recent team profile emphasizing disciplined ball control, and his long track record of production and durability suggests a player who can stabilize a roster and fit cleanly alongside higher-usage scorers.[7][9]
