Nicholls Infield Powerhouse with Elite Versatility and Red-Hot 2026 Form
Trinity Johnston, the 5'8" redshirt freshman infielder for Nicholls, is a 2026 standout whose elite versatility (SS/2B/3B) and intense, 'softball is everything' mentality make her a must-watch differentiator beyond stats. She delivered a shutout 10-0 win over Jackson State in March 2026, showcasing her defensive intensity and clutch hitting. With no injury history and a playful, team-first personality, she’s a perfect fit for any squad needing reliability, versatility, and high-energy leadership. Her 2025 redshirt season at Utah Valley honed her readiness, and her 2026 Nicholls stats confirm she’s a top-tier infield force.
