Shawn Johnson was a two-way workhorse for UIW
In the 2017-18 season, Shawn Johnson gave UIW a rare blend of scoring, rebounding, and rim protection from the wing, averaging 11.6 points and 6.3 rebounds while also posting 1.5 blocks and 1.5 steals per game. He led the Cardinals in multiple hustle categories and was known as a high-motor, do-everything guard who could impact winning without needing the ball every possession. If a team wants toughness, versatility, and a stat-sheet-stuffing connector, Johnson was absolutely that guy.
