Eli Johnson brings depth and DB flexibility to McNeese
Eli Johnson is a McNeese defensive back who projects as a useful, versatile piece in the Cowboys’ secondary, with current roster listings and player profiles confirming his role on the 2026 team[1][2][4]. The publicly available info is thin on detailed 2026 stat production, so the real draw is fit: a DB depth option who can help on special teams, compete with urgency, and add lineup flexibility without needing the ball to find him. If your team wants a steady, roster-ready defender rather than a headline machine, he’s the kind of player coaches like to keep around[1][2].
