Kent State’s Anthony McKay: veteran DT with a grinder’s résumé
Anthony McKay is a Kent State defensive tackle whose profile is built more on toughness and persistence than flashy box-score production; as of 2026, publicly available stat pages list no current statistical output for him, but his roster bio says he once earned conference defensive player of the year honors, was a two-time captain, and made all-conference first team, while also taking four seasons off before returning to football. That combo screams seasoned, high-intensity interior presence — the kind of player who can stabilize a defensive front and fit a program that values maturity, leadership, and blue-collar physicality.
