Zeke Mendenhall is a depth-and-upside defensive back for BYU
Zeke Mendenhall appears to be a developmental BYU defensive back rather than a headline-grabber, with the kind of roster value that matters in special teams, matchup flexibility, and practice intensity. Publicly available BYU stat pages did not surface current 2026 DB production for him, so the best read is that his impact is measured more by role fit, physicality, and coach trust than box-score flash. If your team wants a polished, instant-star defensive back, he may not be that guy; if you want a competitive, versatile piece with room to grow, he’s worth a look.
