High-IQ linebacker with proven tackle production and play recognition
Grant Clifton stands out as a **smart, well-schooled linebacker** with strong production versus both the run and the pass, according to ESPN’s scouting report. In high school, he posted **139 total tackles**, **4.0 sacks**, and **1 interception** in the 2010-11 season, showing consistent downhill activity and playmaking volume. His value is less about flash and more about reliability, instincts, and discipline—traits that translate well to teams looking for a steady inside presence who can diagnose quickly and finish plays.
