Jayion McCluster brings three-star linebacker upside and HBCU transfer pedigree to Alabama State
McCluster is a former three-star linebacker prospect who brought SEC-level recruiting pedigree to Alabama State after transferring from Florida State, giving the Hornets a physically gifted defender with upside and experience against top competition. He matters because players with that background often raise the athletic floor of a defense, and his fit is strongest if your team wants length, pursuit speed, and a linebacker who can develop into an impact piece rather than just fill snaps.
