Shayla Batson brings veteran wing energy and shot-making touch
Shayla Batson’s profile points to a perimeter-oriented guard/wing with a reputation for a solid jumper and the ability to create off the dribble, a nice fit for lineups that need spacing and a steady connective scorer. She was a nationally ranked high-school recruit out of Mater Dei, one of the country’s elite programs, which hints at strong habits, competitive reps, and comfort in high-level environments. Her appeal is less about gaudy box-score shine and more about guard skill, experience, and a track record of being developed in a winning culture.
