Chris Rankins (Northern Arizona DB) | Explosive Closing Speed & Ball Instincts
Chris Rankins is a defensive back for Northern Arizona who stands out for his exceptional ability to close fast on the football—a rare trait that separates elite DBs from the rest. His burst allows him to cover ground quickly from distance, making him a disruptive force in coverage. Rankins' combination of athleticism (32.70" vertical, 4.84 40-time from 2018 testing) and instinctive play suggests he's a prospect worth monitoring for teams seeking a high-motor, ball-hawking secondary piece with upside.
