Layton Vining is an experienced interior anchor for Idaho’s offensive line
Layton Vining has established himself as a steady, durable interior presence for Idaho, appearing in eight games as a freshman in 2023 and then logging solid snap volume in 2024 as the Vandals leaned on him at center. At 6'2" and 285 pounds, he brings the kind of compact leverage, consistency, and line-call reliability that can stabilize an offense even when the box score stays quiet. He looks like a good fit for teams that value smart, physical trench play over flash.
