A Physical, Playmaking Wing With Proven High-School Production
Derrick Bernard was a 6-foot-2 combo guard from Fort Lauderdale who brought a well-rounded game to UNCG, with his high school résumé showing 15.1 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game as a senior at Dillard HS. That profile points to a guard who can score, rebound, and create for teammates rather than just hunt shots, which makes him valuable if you need a tough, versatile backcourt connector. Publicly available team and roster pages do not provide recent season-by-season college stat detail here, so the clearest takeaway is his all-around lead-guard skill set and multi-positional utility.
