Jasmine Spence brings length, rim presence and freshman upside to Longwood's frontcourt
At 6-foot-4, Jasmine Spence gives Longwood a true post option with size that is hard to ignore, and her early-career role suggests the Lancers are developing her as a long-term frontcourt piece. Longwood lists her as a freshman center from Midlothian, and its roster notes that she appeared in two games in her freshman season, logging limited minutes and one rebound[2][4]. The biggest reason to care is her physical profile: if her skill catches up to her frame, she can become a matchup problem around the rim and a useful defensive anchor for a team that values interior size[2][4].
