In the 2025-26 season, Rob Whaley Jr. has been a physical, efficient frontcourt piece for Kent State, averaging 11.7 points, 4.2 rebounds and shooting 51.3% from the field while showing real late-game scoring punch, including a 27-point outburst in a double-overtime win over Eastern Michigan. At 6-7 and 289 pounds, he’s a load to move, thrives on contact, and gives the Flashes a downhill scorer who can finish through traffic; the flip side is that his game is more power than finesse, so teams wanting a stretch big will need to look elsewhere.
