Tourron Whitfield Brings Experienced Backcourt Leadership to Marist
Whitfield is a 6'2" guard for Marist who brings proven perimeter experience and guard versatility, with recruiting profiles and team listings identifying him as a steady backcourt piece rather than a pure volume scorer. His value is less about flashy stat lines and more about fit: size for the position, likely ball-handling responsibility, and the kind of composure a coach can plug into a rotation. Publicly available sources do not show recent detailed season stats or injury context, so his clearest appeal is as a dependable, role-ready guard who could help a team needing structure, toughness, and backcourt depth.
