J'Koby Williams is Texas Tech’s do-it-all spark plug, and the Red Raiders keep feeding him the ball
In the 2025 season, J'Koby Williams produced 868 rushing yards on 155 carries with 6 rushing touchdowns, plus 388 receiving yards and 2 receiving scores, giving Texas Tech a versatile threat who can hurt defenses as a runner, receiver, and returner. He stands out for burst, space creation, and slot-like receiving instincts out of the backfield, and evaluators have praised his comfort in open space and ability to separate. At 5'10" and 185 pounds, he profiles as a high-tempo, matchup-problem RB who fits an offense that wants explosives and flexibility.
