Elite Guard with Top-150 Assists & High-Intensity Playmaking
Tifany Zaragoza stands out as a high-impact guard for Western Kentucky, ranking 144th nationally among 2,112 guards with 3.8 assists per game in the 2006-07 season, while also contributing 7.2 points and 1.9 steals per game. Her differentiator isn't just the stats—it's her relentless intensity, averaging 29.8 minutes per game and displaying a personality that elevates team morale during critical moments. Though her field goal percentage (35%) is modest, her 36% three-point shooting and 15-assist career high against Tennessee Tech (2005) reveal explosive playmaking potential. With no reported injury history and a 5'6" frame that allows agility, she's a perfect fit for teams needing a versatile, high-energy guard who thrives in pressure situations and drives offensive flow beyond what raw scoring numbers show.
