Norfolk State RB William Smith: name on the roster, but no verified 2026 production found
William Smith is listed on Norfolk State’s 2026 football roster as a running back, but publicly available team/stat pages do not show verifiable 2026 rushing production or a clear statistical profile yet[1][4][8]. That means the scouting read is still mostly projection: if he earns carries, the key question will be whether he can translate opportunity into efficiency in a Spartans offense that has leaned on a balanced but not explosive attack[4][6]. For a team fit, he’s a watch-list back rather than an obvious finished product right now—worth tracking for role growth, special-teams value, and whether he brings a physical, downhill edge once game reps arrive[1][8].
