Japannah Kellogg III: Efficient 6-8 Forward with Proven Scalling Versatility at Albany
Japannah Kellogg III is a 6-8, 190lb forward whose differentiator is his **efficient scoring touch** and **versatility**, having reached double-digits in scoring three times during his 2022-23 Albany season while averaging **4.5 points** and **2.8 rebounds** on **47.6% field shooting**[3][4]. Though his Albany stint was brief (28 games, 1.2 ppg in limited minutes after a transfer context) [2][6], his career averages of **4.1 points** and **2.5 rebounds** across 79 games show **steady reliability** [7]. He later transitioned to a **graduate assistant** role at Penn State for 2025-26, indicating high **intensity**, **basketball IQ**, and a **team-first personality** [9]. If you need a **smart, efficient forward** who can score in bursts and contribute defensively without needing star minutes, Kellogg is a **strong fit** for a depth or development role, though he is no longer an active player for Albany.
