Hawaii LB with Limited Action and Untapped Potential
Wesley Faagau, a 6-0, 220-pound linebacker for the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors, appeared in just four games during the 2019 season primarily on special teams, recording his lone tackle against BYU in the SoFi Hawai'i Bowl; a junior transfer from Oregon State with Hawaiian roots from Kamehameha Schools, his physicality and agility shine in limited reps, but lack of extensive college stats raises questions on readiness for bigger roles—ideal for teams seeking developmental depth with high-motor intensity, though not yet a proven starter.
