McNeese's Deep-Bench Freshman Guard from 2008
Bobby Holland, a 6-3 freshman guard for the McNeese State Cowboys in the 2008 season, posted modest career averages of 0.3 PPG, 0.0 RPG, and 0.2 APG on 12.5% FG per ESPN stats, embodying the classic developmental role player with limited minutes. Hailing from Lake Charles, LA, and starring at Barbe High School, his size and local roots offer intriguing upside as a perimeter defender and hustle guy, but sparse production signals he's best suited for bench depth on rebuilding squads rather than starring roles—watch if your team needs raw athleticism over proven scoring.
