Anna Sweny brings steady two-way guard play and veteran polish to Canisius
In the 2025-26 season context, Anna Sweny profiles as a reliable, experienced guard whose game is built on steadiness more than flash: ESPN lists her at 2.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game with a 33.1% field-goal rate, while her career numbers at Canisius show 119 games played and a reputation as a coachable, high-IQ former captain and all-state performer[1][2][3]. She’s the kind of player who can help with structure, toughness, and leadership—useful if a team wants a seasoned floor general who understands the grind and won’t blink under pressure[2][3].
