Ball-Hawking DB Who Redefined Monmouth’s Secondary
Eddie Morales III finished his Monmouth career as one of the program’s most productive defensive backs in recent memory, piling up 10 interceptions and 32 passes defended, both elite markers in school history. In the 2023 season, he added 171 career tackles, showing he was more than just a coverage specialist—he consistently tackled, tracked routes well, and played with proven playmaking instincts. The bigger-picture takeaway: Morales is the kind of defensive back who changes games with anticipation, ball skills, and steady production, making him a strong fit for teams that value turnovers, reliability, and veteran experience.
