steady, playmaking guard with proven Big West savvy
Austen Awosika is a veteran, pass-first guard whose value shows up in the little things: in the 2025-26 season, he appeared in 31 games and averaged 6.0 points while shooting 52.9% from the field, 55.9% on twos, and 40.7% from three, a nice efficiency profile for a guard.[11] He’s also the kind of connector coaches love—his history at Cal State Fullerton includes a 10-assist game and a long track record of leading the team in assists, plus he’s been recognized as a Big West Player of the Week, which hints at real feel and competitiveness.[2][8] If you want a calm, experienced guard who can organize an offense and make winning plays, he’s a sensible fit.
