Brett Vavra brings proven production and toughness to Tennessee Tech’s linebacker room
Vavra profiles as a high-motor, durable defender whose background suggests leadership and dependability more than flash; in his high school career, he battled back from a meniscus injury, then returned to post a near-100-tackle senior season and earn second-team all-conference honors and Tennessee Tech Man of the Year recognition. Those indicators point to a player who competes through adversity, plays with consistent effort, and can stabilize a defense with intelligence and intensity rather than just raw measurables.
