Jose Mariano is giving Elon a lefty power bat at first base
In the 2026 season, Jose Mariano has been a productive, run-driving presence for Elon, batting .220 with a .603 slugging percentage and 13 RBIs while showing enough pop to leave the yard and enough contact ability to stay involved in the lineup[2][11][15]. He’s the kind of first baseman who can change an inning with one swing, and Elon’s own game notes show he has delivered in big spots, including a three-run homer against Campbell[15]. If you want a lower-half lineup bat with some thump and recent RBI impact, Mariano is worth a look[5][11].
