clutch late-season bat with multi-positional value for FDU
In the 2026 season, Luke Russo has flashed as a timely, team-first outfielder for Fairleigh Dickinson, capped by his first collegiate home run — a 11th-inning walk-off-type dagger in a series sweep over Mercyhurst — which says a lot about his poise in pressure spots. The roster lists him at 5-foot-9, 169 pounds and notes outfield/right-handed-pitcher versatility in prior seasons, giving FDU flexibility. His profile fits a gritty, situational player whose value goes beyond raw stat lines: competitive, adaptable, and apparently comfortable in big moments.
