Ex-5-Star Edge Talent Still Searching for College Breakout
Dylan Brooks, a former 5-star recruit (No. 1 in Alabama per ESPN) and Under Armour All-American from Handley High, boasts elite explosiveness, first-step quickness (rated 9/10 by 247Sports), and power to overwhelm linemen at 6'4", 245 lbs—but persistent injuries sidelined him entirely in 2024 and 2025 at Kansas after modest stats (5 tackles, 1 TFL in 2023). Note: No verified link to Eastern Michigan or TE role; he's a Kansas DE/Edge with untapped NFL upside if healthy, making him a high-risk, high-reward fit for teams needing pass-rush development.
