Alexis Byrd brings two-way guardsmanship and steady production to Portland
In her Portland career, Alexis Byrd profiles as a reliable, versatile guard who contributes across the board—last season she averaged 6.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.1 steals per game, ranking among the WCC’s better steal and assist producers. That mix of playmaking, rebounding from the guard spot, and disruptive defense makes her valuable even when her shot isn’t falling. She looks like a strong fit for teams needing a tough, instinctive connector who can defend, facilitate, and make winning plays without needing the offense built around her.
