Jalen Woods brings dual-program experience and a quick-hit passing profile to Hampton
Jalen Woods entered Hampton with legit starter reps from Southern, where in the 2024 season he completed 24 of 66 passes for 541 yards and 4 touchdowns, then opened the 2026 season with Hampton showing mobility and efficiency in limited action. What makes him interesting is the combo of size, a live arm, and transferable experience in a new system after a transfer; the caution flag is durability/availability, since his Hampton debut was shortened by injury. If your team wants a quarterback with upside and toughness, he’s worth a close look.
