Chris Hunt brings veteran UMass secondary experience with a long, versatile frame
Chris Hunt is a 6-foot-1, 177-pound cornerback for Massachusetts who arrived with a strong two-way prep background and even served as a two-time co-captain in high school, signaling leadership and toughness. At UMass, his current statistical profile is modest — ESPN lists 7 solo tackles with no interceptions or pass breakups — so his value is more about reliable depth, length on the outside, and competitive mentality than splash plays. He looks like a fit for a team that wants an experienced, physical defensive back who can compete in coverage and bring steady presence to the room.[1][4][8]
