Millicent Jones brought steady frontcourt production to Alabama State
Millicent Jones was a reliable F/C for Alabama State, and in the 2011-12 season she averaged 7.0 points and 4.8 rebounds per game while leading the Lady Hornets in rebounding at 7.7 boards per game early in the year.[2][9] Her best value was her toughness on the glass and ability to flash occasional double-double upside, like her 14-point, 10-rebound senior-day outing against Jackson State in the 2011-12 season.[3] She looks like a glue player: physical, experienced, and clearly trusted in the lineup, though her offensive efficiency was modest overall in that stretch.[2][5]
