Malik Bridgers gives Alabama State a steady linebacker presence with tackling volume and reliability
Malik Bridgers has been a productive, assignment-solid linebacker for Alabama State, highlighted by a 47-tackle season in 2018 and a profile that shows he contributes as both a tackler and run-stopper rather than a flashy splash-play specialist. He also posted 13 solo tackles in ESPN’s listing, while available stat trackers show modest pass-rush production but steady defensive involvement, which suggests a player whose value comes from consistency, physicality, and doing the dirty work. If you need a dependable LB who can fit a defense that prizes discipline and gap integrity, he looks like a sensible fit.
