Ruta Zurauskyte brings real paint presence for Santa Clara
Ruta Zurauskyte is a true low-post anchor for Santa Clara, with historical evidence of scoring bursts, rebounding pop, and double-double upside, including a 22-point, 16-rebound game and a 33-point, 13-rebound performance in 2011-12, plus a 2013-14 line of 7.7 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. Her differentiator has always been interior physicality: she can battle for boards, finish inside, and tilt a game with effort and touch. For a team needing size, rebounding, and a reliable post presence, she’s the kind of center who quietly makes everyone else’s job easier.
