Ricky Gary brings veteran DB energy and ball production to Pitt
Ricky Gary is a seasoned defensive back with proven playmaking chops and a knack for stepping up when the lights are bright. In his high-school season at Glades Central, he posted 71 tackles, 8 tackles for loss, and a team-leading 3 interceptions, which fits the profile of a tough, instinctive defender who can trigger downhill and make drives uncomfortable. He’s also carrying the edge of a high-upside competitor: Pittsburgh’s local-coverage notes describe him as competing for snaps, with experience and versatility likely his calling card.
