Dexter James brings Southern a true edge-setting defensive end with local roots
Dexter James is a Southern University defensive end from Brusly, Louisiana, and his value is tied to the classic DE profile: physical edge play, toughness, and fit in a program that wants disruptive line play. Publicly available roster/profile sources confirm his role and position, but current season-by-season production, rankings, and injury details are not clearly documented in the available results, so the safest read is that he is a depth-or-developmental fit unless deeper scouting says otherwise. If you want a player with local connection and a trench-first mentality, he is worth watching closely.
