EKU’s high-motor, two-way guard who stuffs the stat sheet
In the 2014-15 season, Corey Walden was an all-action Eastern Kentucky guard: 18.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 3.1 steals per game, while shooting 54.7% from the field and 36.4% from three. He’s the kind of player coaches love because he impacts winning in more ways than scoring—pressure defense, pace, and toughness are his calling cards, and he was named OVC Tournament MVP in 2014. If you want a competitive, do-everything guard who brings edge, production and big-game feel, he’s a fit.
