Johnny Wimbish brings VMI-style toughness to the secondary
Johnny Wimbish is listed as a defensive back for VMI, but the current search results do not surface reliable 2026 game-by-game stats, rankings, or recent scouting reports specific to him. The clearest takeaway is that he profiles as a depth-and-development defender in the Keydets’ secondary, with the kind of fit that usually hinges on reliability, physicality, and special-teams value rather than splashy numbers. If a roster spot needs a smart, steady DB who can buy into a hard-nosed system, he looks like the sort of player worth a closer look.
