Mercer freshman Kelan Washington brings power-run pedigree and mauler traits to the Bears' offensive line
Kelan Washington entered Mercer as a 6-foot-3, 290-pound offensive lineman from Walton High School, where he was known for pancake-block production and helping drive an offense that averaged more than 36 points and 400 yards per game in 2025. He fits the profile of a physical, high-motor interior/utility OL with proven line-driving strength and a winning background, which is exactly the kind of nasty, dependable piece a run-first team loves to plug in.
