Mississippi Valley State DB with a rostered opportunity, but limited public production data
Boyd is listed on Mississippi Valley State’s 2016 football roster as a defensive back, but the available public information does not show verified game-by-game stats, rankings, or scouting reports for him specifically. That makes him more of a name-to-track than a proven statistical standout right now. If you are evaluating fit, the key question is upside and role: a DB like Boyd would need to show coverage consistency, tackling reliability, and special-teams value to separate himself in a program that often rewards toughness and depth over flash.
