Jamall Sanders brings veteran DB depth to Marshall, but current public production is limited
Jamall Sanders is listed as a Marshall defensive back, but publicly available recent stat lines are sparse, so the clearest takeaway is his value as a depth and experience piece rather than a headline-grabbing playmaker. The 2026 Marshall roster and team stat pages show the Herd’s DB room is crowded, which suggests Sanders has to win snaps with consistency, communication, and reliability in coverage. If you want an athlete who can fit into a physical, team-first secondary, he looks like a sensible low-risk add; if you need proven turnover production, the public data doesn’t yet show that profile.
