Youngstown State’s hard-nosed edge setter on the line
Mernedakis brings a physical, blue-collar edge presence for Youngstown State, with game action logged as early as the 2007 season and multiple defensive snaps in the program’s records, which points to experience and toughness rather than flash. The clear appeal is his compact, assignment-sound style and willingness to do the dirty work—traits coaches love in a rotational DE who can hold the point and keep a defense honest. If you want a dependable, intensity-first fit who looks built for trench battles, he’s the kind of player worth a serious look.
