Tyler Gilbert brings disruptive length and proven production to Tulane’s edge
Gilbert profiles as a dependable, experienced defensive end with a history of producing in college, including 48 career tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, and 3.0 sacks across stops at Arkansas, Southwest Mississippi CC, and Tulane. His value goes beyond the box score: Tulane’s own roster note says he entered fall practice atop the depth chart at DE, which points to trust from the staff and a readiness to contribute. If you want an older, battle-tested edge player who can hold his spot and give steady run support, he fits.
