Wofford’s proven forward with a veteran edge
Grant Sterley is a former Wofford forward, not a current 2025-26 roster player, and his résumé points to a rugged, team-first four who could rebound, score efficiently, and absorb contact when healthy. In the 2001-02 and 2002-03 seasons, he logged starter-level minutes and produced around 5–6 points and 4–5 rebounds per game, and an opposing game report noted he returned from a knee injury to give Wofford 7 points and 8 rebounds in 19 minutes. Why care? He projects as the kind of high-IQ, physical glue guy coaches trust; the downside is durability, since the knee issue clearly interrupted his run.
