WIU’s do-everything lead guard and go-to scorer
Massner is a high-usage, two-way point guard who drove Western Illinois in 2022-23 with 19.0 points, 5.4 assists, 5.2 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game, while also shooting 43.9% from the field and 83.0% at the line. [2][1] What makes him valuable is the blend of on-ball creation, steady production and defensive activity—he can run an offense, score in bunches and create extra possessions with steals, which is why he profiles as a strong fit for teams needing a mature lead guard rather than just a pure scorer.
